Can someone please explain to me how this whole 'middle-school girls beating up other middle-school girls' thing suddenly became a national epidemic and the most important story for the media to report on? Seriously...CNN, CBS, NY Times...don't these folks remember that there still are wars going on in Iraq and Afganistan, and the potential for a third in Iran?
But if the news doesn't show us how violent non-white people are, how are we supposed to justify going and killing them overseas?
I think the worry is more the fact that people are gonna start doing bad stuff JUST to film it and put it on the internet. So of course they wait til the black and hispanic kids to it to make a big example of it.
The news is so ridiculous. Did you ever watch the Fox 5 10:00 news? Half of it is telling you what's coming up on American Idol. I can't believe they put the word "news" in the title of that show.
The AOL title screen gives you "news," and the top story is usually...well, today, for example, it's the kidnapper who took some of our precious white, middle class youth, followed by the monkey who had a baby despite all the males around it having had vasectomies.
